Investigators have said in a report that a "slightly" drunken navigator was partly to blame for a plane crash that killed 47 people.
The Tu-134 crashed just minutes before it was to land at the airport in Petrozavodsk, in the northwest of the country, on June 20.
Five people survived with serious injuries.
According to the Reuters news agency, the Interstate Aviation Committee -- which serves several former Soviet republics -- said in a report published on September 19 that one of the reasons for the crash was that the navigator "conducted the flight in a state of light alcoholic intoxication."
The navigator was killed in the crash.
The Petrozavodsk plane crash was the first in a series of Russian air accidents in recent months.
